27 1/2 Gallon Bass  -  Available for $800.

 This unique 3/4 size bass is constructed from sitka spruce reclaimed from a logging bridge support, walnut, ebonized hard maple, and a recycled steel drum.  The soundboard is set into a walnut frame and finished with lacquer.  The neck is all walnut and finished with a french polish.  I added a carbon fiber endpin to hold it all together.  Internal bracing keeps the steel drum quiet and helps the bass produce a deep boomimg sound!   For playing in a seated position, the bass leans back on 2 feet.  You can hear this bass on YouTube, just click the link below.
