These all leather straps are strong and attractive. They are soft and will get softer over time. I have found that the rough inside surface grips my shirt and holds the banjo in place. They attach to your banjo by sliding under the bracket hooks, looping the end around a hook, and then tying the cord through the holes. The heel end has a very soft suede wrap around the strap to prevent any damage to your instrument's finish. The stitching is a heavy nylon thread and very durable. They are adjustable to length by varying the attachment point at the tailpiece end of the strap and also by a central tie system. Each strap is approximately 60" long and 5/8" wide and can be cut to length if it is too long.
