This deer hunting theme banjo is my personal player. It documents my hunting season in 2019. Constructed of walnut and padauk, with a black locust tonering and a goat skin head, it has that woody sound I like. Some of the unique features of this instrument are deer horn nut and 5th string pip, custom designed and cast neck brace, and deer tracks and skull inlay. It's a real beauty and a great playing jam instrument.
Beautiful 11" walnut fretless banjo with a round rod tonering and rosewood bottom cap and heel. The ebony headstock has an engraved star and dots and a star mark the fingerboard at 3, 5, 7, 10, and 12 frets. Large dots mark the side to aid visibility in low light situations. This banjo is surprisingly easy to play for a fretless. The goat skin head sounds wonderful.
11" Maple wood tonering banjo. Goat skin head, brass hardware, Gotoh tuners, my tension hoop, ebony headstock, Indian laurel fingerboard. Inlays include an engraved star surrounded by black pearl in the headstock and engraved dot and star in the fingerboard. A very nice sounding banjo.
11" Maple wood tonering with curly walnut bottom cap and heel. The royal blackwood headstock and fingerboard are inlayed with squares and circles. The side dots are large to help visibility in low light situations. The goat skin head provides excellent tone and volume with the walnut woody pot, and is surprisingly bright. All hardware is raw brass, including the Gotoh tuners and my tension hoop.
This is a 12" Walnut banjo with a tubaphone tonering. The bottom cap and heel are birdseye maple. The head is a goat skin and produces beautiful banjo noises when the proper amount of musician is applied to the instrument. All hardware, including the Gotoh tuners and my tension hoop is raw brass. The ebony headstock is inlayed with a gold pearl grindstone. Simple dots mark the frets and large dots are used on the side of the fretboard to help visibility in low light situations.
This is an all walnut 11" pot with padauk bottom cap and heel. The goat skin head sounds great on the walnut tonering. All hardware is raw brass including the Gotoh tuners and my tension hoop. The rosewood headstock veneer is a good match for the pau ferro fingerboard. Inlays are simple dots and large dots on the side to help in low light situations. A very nice banjo with a simple appearance.
