This Uke is constructed of figured cherry with curly maple binding and a walnut finger board. The inlays are abalone, pearl and ebony. The bridge and internal bracing is made from mountain laurel. The nut is ebony and the saddle is bone. For an authentic touch and some added mojo, I slotted the nut and first strung it up on the the island of Hawaii, but that is another story...
