Replacement Neck for Silvertone Banjo

My customer wanted to bring his father's old banjo back to life with a new neck and some custom inlays.  He wanted to retain the original character of the instrument while upgrading the playability.  His father's initials are inlayed at the 12th fret, and the original pearloid look of the headstock was inlayed with "A BANJO".  This inlay is due to the fond memory of his uncle who used a label maker to label everything in the house.  That label remained on the banjo for a while and now is memorialized in the new neck.  I also tried to match the original finish and re-use as much hardware as possible.  The neck is constructed from straight grain hard maple with an ebony fretboard, 22 frets, pearl markers and side dots, a bone nut, and Gotoh tuners. The head was changed to a Fiberskyn and a wire armrest was added.  One of my handmade bridges and a hand rubbed shellac finish complete the re-build.  I hope to get a sound file from the new owner!
