This deer hunting theme banjo is my personal player. It documents my hunting season in 2019. Constructed of walnut and padauk, with a black locust tonering and a goat skin head, it has that woody sound I like. Some of the unique features of this instrument are deer horn nut and 5th string pip, custom designed and cast neck brace, and deer tracks and skull inlay. It's a real beauty and a great playing jam instrument.
11" walnut banjo with padauk accents. A round rod tonering sits on fretwire to give this banjo a nice bright sound. The ebony headstock and fingerboard are beautifully inlayed with a dragonfly and engraved star. 25.5" scale length and 1 3/8" nut width. Natural calf skin head. This is a great sounding instrument.
11" fretless curly maple banjo with curly walnut accents and round rod tonering. Pearl stars and dots adorn this banjo from the ebony headstock to the Indian laurel fretboard. A goatskin head gives great tone. 25.5" scale and 1 3/8" nut width provide great playability. This is a gorgeous banjo. It's a winner.
11" curly maple banjo with walnut and birdseye maple accents and a maple tonering. This paddle head is a new peghead design for me and has an engraved star shape I call the "drive star". The fretboard is torrefied purple heart and looks surprisingly like high grade ebony. A goat skin gives this light and handy banjo beautiful tone.
11" walnut banjo with rosewood accents and a Silver Bell tonering. The fingerboard is torrefied purple heart and looks surprisingly like high quality ebony. The ebony headstock is inlayed with a pearl star and abalone and pearl dots. Dots adorn the fingerboard for fret and side markers. A goat skin gives this banjo a wonderful sound that will stand out in a jam or performance.
