11" Walnut and Birdseye Maple Openback with Round Rod Tonering

This banjo is constructed of walnut with birdseye maple accents.  The pot has a padauk wood layer just below the round brass rod tonering.  The tonering floats on frets to give it a really bright sound.  The pot has an Ashborn style flange, nickel hardware, a comfortable armrest, No-Knot tailpiece, Renaissance head, and a walnut and ebony compensated bridge.  The neck has a maple stripe and a birdseye heel cap to match the pot.  It has pearl dot position markers and side markers.  There are 17 EVO gold alloy frets for long wear and a scoop with an exposed truss rod nut.  The banjo has Gotoh 2 band tuners and the headstock has an ebony veneer and an engraved pearl star.  The nut is made of hard cow bone and is 1.375" wide.  A very nice instrument!
