11" Ashborn pot with Brass Tonering and Walnut Accents

This is a beautiful curly maple banjo with walnut accents and a slot-head headstock.  The pot has a round brass rod tonering seated in a walnut layer for a beautiful bright tone.  The goat skin head adds to the purity of the tone.  I made the tension hoop of raw brass and mixed it with nickel hooks and nuts and a brass arm rest.  The ebony fretboard has hand cut gold pearl dots and a hand cut black pearl star and small pearl side dots.  It has 17 frets and a frailing scoop.  The scale is my standard 25.5" length and the width is 1.375" wide at the buffalo horn nut.  This banjo is beautiful as it sounds!
