Fairbanks 5 String Conversion

A friend wanted an authentic looking 5 string neck to put on a fine old Fairbanks tenor banjo. I built this neck with replica inlays and a short scale length. The headstock is pear wood. The scoop is covered in sterling silver and the whole thing is bound with ivroid plastic. Some pictures are before a finish was applied and also show the old neck for comparison.
