Gourd Banjo SN 0001

This is an A scale fretless gourd banjo with a walnut and maple neck.  The tuners are ebony friction pegs, (fiddle pegs).  The head is calf skin dyed with coffee and is tacked to the gourd.  The bridge is walnut and ebony and the nut is ebony.  A soundhole is cut into the gourd pointing toward the player. The neck is finished with linseed oil for a silky smooth feel.  A braided leather strap completes this organic looking banjo.
